Personal Pilates offers a range of classes, from beginning to advanced, individual or group. We have a range of equipment to give you complete confidence and success in every session.  

beginners

Introductory - includes consultation and postural assessment followed by a practical session covering the basic principles of Pilates
  • Postural alignment
  • Pilates Breath Pattern
  • Pelvic placement
  • Ribcage placement and shoulder stabilisation
  • Core muscle engagement - abdominals, lower back and pelvic floor
  • Head positioning

These are our Pilates foundations which will allow you to participate effectively and safely in any future Pilates sessions.  This is a great taste tester with minimal commitment.

Duration: 1 x 55min session                      
Cost: Individual $75               Duo Shared $90 ($45 per person)

Ideal for – Anyone new to Pilates or those who are returning after a considerable break from regular attendance.

Beginners Starter Pack – From experience we know most people require up to 3 sessions to grasp the principles of Pilates and/or gain an understanding of how Pilates may benefit them in the future.  Our Starter Pack allows you to build on each session, giving you the best possible start to learning Pilates with confidence to joining group classes or continuing with further personal sessions using the equipment.

Duration: 3 x 45min sessions                   
Cost: Individual $150               Duo Shared $228 ($114  per person)

Please note - every new client must partake in a Beginners option above prior to joining any other sessions.

Individuals – the ultimate experience that will help you to understand your body better and get maximum results.  

Duo - are designed for people who would like to work out with a friend or family member.

All Personal Sessions are with a fully qualified Pilates Instructor who will design a programme using a selection of equipment and props to suit your needs.  

Equipment – Trap Table, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel or Reformer

Props – Swiss balls, hand weights, stability balls, stretch straps, stretch bands, foam rollers, pilates circles, rotational discs.

Personal Sessions are available from Monday to Saturday by appointment only.  Sessions are available in 45 or 55min and costs range from $47-$65 with discounts available for multiple sessions.

group mat classes

Our classes provide a fun and effective way of improving strength, tone and flexibility.  Our classes are unique in that they run in series of usually up to 5 weeks (sometimes shorter due to public holidays etc) with each series based on a particular theme of Pilates. The benefits of this are -

  • Gradual and consistent progression of improvement for all participants
  • Provides participants with a set goal/aim for the 5 week period to help keep motivation levels high
  • As it’s continually changing there is never time for your practice to get stale.  You will never be bored!
  • A low level of commitment is required – you can opt in and out of series as your lifestyle demands predict.

Rates: Single class $16         
Series (of 5) $70
Duration: 55mins 
Numbers: Maximum of 8 per class

Group Mat Class Registration Process:
Spaces are limited to all classes so you must book prior to attending.  This secures you a place in the class of your choice.  By registering there is a short term commitment in that you are pre-paying for all registered sessions and so it's your responsibility to attend.  

Registrations are very important to us for the following reasons:
  1. The instructor can prepare the most ideal exercises and modifications based on the people attending.
  2. We can ensure there are enough people to make the class viable to run and can also offer places to others who may be on a waiting list.
  3. As a participant you will progress gradually and pick up on the techniques and cues emphasized within the series.

Terms and Conditions for Group Mat Classes:
  1. You must have completed a Personal Pilates Introductory or similar elsewhere.
  2. You must register via email prior to attending.
  3. You can register for the full series or for individual classes please specify dates.
  4. Upon confirmation of registration you will receive an invoice with payment options. Payment is required prior to completion of 1st class.
  5. Failure to complete all registered classes is at your own discretion and there are no refunds. However you have the option of attending a similar class as a ‘catch up’.
  6. Catch up classes need to be taken within the timeframe of the current series and are subject to availability, please arrange prior to attending.
  7. For all non-attendance please call/text the instructor asap.
  8. If for medical reasons you are unable to complete all registered classes a voucher will be issued and can be used at a later date. (A medical certificate may be requested.)
